Permakultur!

PermaKULTUR! : 17. – 30. September 2018, Halle (Saale) Germany

The story of this project:

(Nur auf Englisch – Sorry…) We had the idea to organise a two weeks training so we have the time and space to share and develop skills, experience and own projects in a focused athmosphere. We were creating a training group with trustfull connection & mutual support and everyone involved took part as much as possible to support each other in each session.

The training sessions were lead by people from inside and outside the training group. In the free time we went cycling or kajaking on the river in front of the project (there a 3 kajaks, lots of bikes and a beautifull surrounding with hills, lakes and cliffs to climb).

Who was this training for?

The training was designed for youth workers, volunteers, activists and other people who work with people, who want to refresh their skills and attitudes to their days, to other people, to work and to the world.

We had the pleasure to host 24 participants from the following countries:

Germany, France, Spain, Slovenia, Italy and Latvia.

What happened?

We had Rakesh „Rootsman Rak“ with us from the Youth in Permaculture Project. He gave input in Permaculture Design and guided us through some design processes with hand and head.

Other Workshops that took place included:

*Permaculture Design
*Games from Theatre and Social Circus
*Beekeeping
*Growing your own Mushrooms
*Greywater Recycling
*Natural Building (Clay and Straw Plaster)
*Gardening and Trees (Planting and Caretaking)
*Building an efficient wood burning stove (Rocket Stove)
*collectiong of wild herbs
*Composting and Compost Toilet Management

Most of the time was organized as open spaces wich we can fill with our own activies and research. A big thanks to everyone fot making this training so rich and colorfull!
