September 22

  • Arrival Day
    • Team building activities

September 23, 24, and 25

  • Workshop on Movement Research and Circus Dramaturgy
    • Duration: 6 hours daily
    • Led by: Marlène Rubinelli
  • Activities Related to the Huesca Performing Arts Fair
    • Duration: 1.5 hours daily

September 26

  • Conclusion of Marlène Rubinelli’s Workshop
    • Duration: 6 hours
  • Possible Mediation Activity with the Huesca Performing Arts Fair

Workshop Breakdown by Marlène Rubinelli

An Instinctive and Emotional Dance

Morning:

  • Warm-up (1.5 hours)
    • Body movement: availability, support, impulses, fluidity.
    • Seeking paths within one’s own body rather than reproduction.
    • Progression towards a more acrobatic dance.
  • Choreography and Group
    • Placing choreographic material in the space.
    • Writing with different rhythms and proposals.

Afternoon:

  • Writing Process and Personal Work
    • Exploring the strengths and weaknesses of the body.
    • Engaging in a creative process to build capsules of artistic material.

Biography of Marlène Rubinelli Giordano

  • Training: Gymnast, National School of Circus Arts in Rosny-sous-Bois and the National Circus Arts Center in Châlons-en-Champagne.
  • Career:
    • Co-founder of the AOC Collective.
    • Collaborations with Anomalie, Mathurin Bolze, Chloé Moglia, Gaël Santisteva.
    • Creator of Maalâm (trapeze solo and knife throwing).
    • Participation in short films and documentary projects.
    • Founder of the company l’MRG’ée, creator of “des bords de soi”, “ma maison”, and “médusé.es“.
    • Educator with collaborations in European and international circus schools.
